What we stand for
We believe AI in public domains only works when it sits in service of pedagogy, service delivery and humanity. Our role is to protect that order — calmly, critically and concretely.
Humantera AI was founded on a simple conviction: technology only has value when it strengthens people. We work primarily with schools, universities, mission-driven organisations and public institutions — the places where care matters most.

Small, focused and in dialogue. We don't push grand transformations. We help you make a sequence of decisions your people stand behind and can maintain on their own.
A small, experienced team with backgrounds in education, policy, ethics and engineering. We work in steady duos, so you always know who you're talking to.
Humantera AI is carried by a steady duo who know each other inside out. We worked together in higher education for years and now combine educational science and technology.

Marc combines over two decades in education with a deep-rooted love of technology. As education manager and interim director at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, he led large teams and steered strategic innovation. With a background as an ICT lecturer — networks, digital communication and security — and leadership training at Harvard, he is the bridge between technology and people. A true technophile with a heart for education.

Aukje is an educationalist (MSc, Maastricht University) and strategic advisor with over twenty years of experience at the intersection of education, policy and organisational development. She advises boards and directors on strategy, quality management and change — currently at VISTA College, previously as strategic advisor and head of education quality at Fontys University of Applied Sciences. As a senior policy advisor at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science she worked on higher education, accreditation and quality assurance, and as a consultant she designed innovative digital learning environments. She translates pedagogical principles into everyday practice, always keeping people — students, teachers and organisations — at the centre.
We think from pedagogy first. AI amplifies the work of teachers — it never replaces them.
Public value comes first: accessibility, equity, and careful stewardship of data.
People stay in charge, AI supports. We design for trust, agency and dignity.
Practical innovation: small experiments, rapid learning, lasting adoption.
